Oxygen 15

 Oxygen 15

Oxygen 15 has a half -life of 122 seconds . Oxygen 15 also has an Isotope of oxygen used in Positron Emission. Its Medical Procedures is Positron Emission Tomography. Another name for Positron Emission Tomography is PET Experiment . Positron Emission Tomography is oxygen that is injected into the blood. It decays. The Decay gives an image that the doctor can use to diagnose people with brain diseases . An example of this is Neuroimaging . Neuroimaging is any imaging technique–eg, PET scans, functional MRI, used to evaluate functional aspects of neural activity.  Neuroimaging is based on assumption that are areas of high radioactivity , and that associates with brain activity . It sends blood to different parts of the brain , which is believed to be correlated , and measured using Oxygen - 15 . Positron Emission Tomography works by injecting small amounts of radioactive isotopes into a patients bloodstreams. the isotopes are used to target organs, tissues , and other body structures . the side effects area Allergic reaction , slight pains , and hot flashes. the risks of Positron Emission Tomography is pregnancy . It can be a risk with fetal development or it can be a harmful substance in breast milk .
Equation for oxygen 15  -
